Pouring out his heart with tears, David was completely honest with God. We can be honest with God even when we are filled with anger or despair because God knows us thoroughly and wants the very best for us. Anger may result in rash outward acts or turning inward toward depression. But because we trust in our all-powerful God, we don't have to be victims of circumstance or be weighted down by the guilt of sin.
Be honest with God, and he will help you turn your attention from yourself to him and his mercy.

Friday Following you
Ok, this is just getting scary...last night, I was bawling my eyes out....on my knees...crying....snot flying...dog worrying next to me as I hit my knees in prayer.
I said to God, "well i'm just going to lay it on you, cuz i know you know anyway...."...and so the prayer went until a sense of calm came over me, and said, lay down now heather, cry tomorrow if you want, but tonight...rest.
and I did, and i feel alright. Just have to remind myself to always keep the faith. Even when things seem hopeless....it's easy to feel hopeless in the hour just before dawn....but the sun comes up, and gives us a new day....hope restored...
I think only by the grace of god that in the millions of millions of bloggers...what's the odd of meeting you, through Lee, while we live in the same small town that most people have never heard of?
