Faithful Friday

Then hear from heaven where you live, and forgive. Give your people what their actions deserve, for you alone know each human heart.  2 Chronicles 6:30, NLT

Have you ever felt far from God, separated by feeling of failure and personal problems? In his prayer, Solomon underscored the fact that God stands ready to hear his people, to forgive their sins, and to restore their relationship with him.

God is waiting and listening for our confessions of guilt and our recommittment to obey him. He hears us when we pour out our needs and problems to him and is ready to forgive and restore us to fellowship with him. Don't wait to experience his loving forgiveness.

Amen! Approach the Lord with a humble and contrite heart and forgiveness will always be forthcoming. Great post, Mary!

"for you alone know each human heart"

That's one thing that always gives me peace...because even though, i may not always do the right thing, say the right thing, or THINK the right thing....I know he knows my heart, and he knows that I say things I sometimes don't mean, I get angry sometimes, hurt sometimes and don't react as great as I always should....

but the fact that he knows my heart...he knows ME....gives me hope that it'll all be alright, because he knows as soon as I do when I've #1-messed up..and #2-feel sorry.
