Weekend in Review

My Friday night was looking to be full of excitement.
However my date with laundry left me high and dry and I was asleep in the recliner by 830! Poor clothes didn't stand a chance, and they were good little things (ha my stuff isn't so little) and stayed in the S-I-X (yes you read that right) loads they were sorted into.

Saturday was spent waiting at the local hair place for $10 haircuts.  Goose and I arrived at 930 and were not in the chair until 1150!!  But we are back to our super cute selves and ready for any impromptu picture taking I decide to partake in.  I was so proud of how the clothes were interacting with each other so I left them hanging out a little while longer.  There is no need to interrupt such a beautiful site is there??

And that brings us to today - Ducky & I hung out at home since she has a nice little cold while the hubs and Goose went to Church.  I took advantage of the semi-quiet house and made a meatloaf for lunch.  While I was in the basement getting the needed supplies for lunch I did peek in on the clothes, yep still hanging around.  I guess it was wishful thinking that they would be good little guest and clean up after themselves.

Ducky is down for a nap and Goose is being a princess. Life is good.  I hope everyone is having a blessed Sunday.

I don't think you should date the laundry any more. Dump it and move on ;)

Oh MJ, you sound just like my cousin Rachel...she frequently will have SIX loads of laundry "out of site, out of mind" in the basement.

funny thing is, for ME, laundry is one of the chores around the house I enjoy! I have a dart board down in the basement, and I go reward myself with playing darts every time I throw in a load. PLUS, when i dry the laundry, it the fabric sheets make the house smell all fresh and clean...

do i need to come down there and get ya started off in the wonderful world of laundry?

;)
