It's no wonder

why is it that any time I have something planned for me, he turns into an ass. Making me feel guilty or wrong for wanting to go and do. EVERY FREAKING TIME! It doesn't matter if it is with his friend's wife (as today) or for my work or just me.

I am sitting here with tears running down my face because he has made me feel like I am 2 feet tall - and I shouldn't let him do that to me. The tears are also because once again my 5 yo walks in and is caught in the middle.

It is no wonder I want to give up & run away.

PS - I ended up running errands with the girls instead of what was planned. If I stayed in the house WWIII was about to commence -and I felt a little better getting out of the house. By the time evening rolled around things had calmed down although he was still being an ass.

I am so sorry to hear that. You have to believe in yourself, and when that happens, no matter what he says, it will not bother you. I have been there, it sucks.

Please tell me you are still going or that you already went?

Don't let him cut you down. You need YOUR time, too. We all need a break. He won't wither away without you for a couple of hours. Shame on him, but you need to stand tall and tell him where to stick it.

Just follow my rule...If someone tells me I can't do something, I'll just have to go prove them wrong! Don't let him make you feel that way. Your feelings are just as important as his!

Stand strong girl!! Men can be jerks... Sometimes I don't think they can help themselves. No excuse though!

"If they can put a man on the moon, why not take all of them?"

I can't remember who said that, but, unfortunatly, it's a quote I'm reminded of far too often. I, too, miss the guy I thought I married. We'll be okay, though-- especially when the day arrives when women become totally in charge of the world. LOL!

don't get too down, without the fights and the struggles, the good stuff wouldn't feel as good. but seriously, why are men such idiots!! it is SO EASY to make us happy, it really is, because we expect so little--yet they manage to mess it up every time.

stay strong sista!
